Litigation eDiscovery consulting from an experienced litigator.
Spark eDiscovery supports you through discovery so you can do what you do best.
How can Spark help you with your case or subpoena?
-
Let's make a plan.
Does opposing counsel’s entire document request feel “overbroad and unduly burdensome”? Not sure what to preserve and what to collect? Leery about how and when to search non-email ESI, like Slack, Teams, Sharepoint, text messages, or legacy archives?
We’ll talk through the needs of the case and the facts that need to be developed. Then we’ll develop a plan to comply with discovery obligations in your jurisdiction, push back on unreasonable demands, get document discovery done, and get on with building your case.
-
Get what you want.
As collaboration and communication applications proliferate in the workplace and at home, are you asking for the right data from the right places?
We can help you add specifics to your ESI protocol and your document request instructions to make sure you get the good stuff in the right format, and support you through discovery conferences and/or meet-and-confers.
-
Avoid document collection headaches.
Is it time to collect documents and materials from a busy client and their busy employees?
With a streamlined process and familiarity with a variety of tools and set-ups, we will work with your client’s in-house team, I.T., and the custodians — while respecting your time and your client’s.
We can simplify and streamline the process of collection and preservation, ensuring you do not run afoul of rules on spoliation or complete searches.
-
Fight (and win) the right battles
Should you file a motion to compel? Should we just give them this category of documents?
We’ll support you with the specifics you need to make your case, and experience to answer the critical questions: Should we even be fighting about this, and will we win?
-
Find perfect partnerships.
We can bring together the right technology and the right review team to make your review and production smooth sailing.
Spark has relationships with eDiscovery vendors who offer different features at different price points, so we can connect you to the right technology. Price conscious? Looking to use technology-assisted review analytics to find needles in your haystack? Want the most user-friendly interface? We’ll make the right match for you.
-
Project managed from start to finish.
Want someone to take the hands-on approach so you can be hands-off?
We can manage your review to ensure quality and efficiency, deploying the right technological tools at the right time. Let us handle quality control, ensuring a lawyer with in-depth knowledge of your case has an eye on each document before it goes out the door.
-
Bring on the binders.
Hate reading on a screen? Or do you never want to see a piece of paper again?
We know you like your documents a certain way. Attached to emails, summarized in a chart, and/or chronologically collected in double-sided color-coded three-ring binders? We understand. We’ll work with your team and support staff to get your information to you the way you want it, so you can find what you need when you need it. (And we’ll be here to help you find it.)
-
A resource in your time frame.
Just need someone to call for quick questions and problems? Or, do you want someone to take your eDiscovery project and run with it?
Spark will fit into and support your litigation team, adding eDiscovery expertise where and when you really need it.
-
Welcome to a new age.
Adopting new technology and processes for electronic discovery does not need to be (too) painful — but for all but the smallest disputes, it does need to be done.
Omitting metadata from your document production may leave you out of compliance with the applicable rules of court. Failing to properly search archived Slack, Teams, Zoom, iMessage, or WhatsApp messages could lead to sanctions. Leaving document collection up to your client could earn you a “benchslap.”
Spark helps keep you ahead of the curve.
